Stejar Strahl and Eiseemi Laxi followed the Pink Geezer.
Finally they arrived at the Strokeback Fountain.
Stejar Strahl:
Look! There's my baby boy in the hand of the rambo!Eiseemi Laxi:
Jambo! My name is Laxi, Eiseemi Laxi and I need to know where you're going to take that baby.Mrs cowboy:
I'm gonna tell you this one time, Eiseemi duckin' Laxi, an' I ain't foolin'...Mr Wowboy:
Blaa blaa blaadidaa. My momma believes in the cosmonauts. Mrs Cowboy, Mr Wowboy and the tiny Russian galloped away.
Eiseemi Laxi:
Hey! The geezer is breaking the fountain!Stejar Strahl:
Stop this criminal act at once!Pink Geezer:
I've done nothing. I'm just a poor fountain-flusher.Stejar Strahl:
Why did you take the baby? Why did they leave with the baby?Pink Geezer:
I sold it. They wanted to adopt an astronaut.
Stejar Strahl:
Oh. That's understandable. Have you sold any turtles or rings lately?Pink Geezer:
No, but I ate some tasty artichokes in the baneberry sauce. The plates were made of tortoiseshell. Eiseemi Laxi:
Where?Pink Geezer:
In the local Inn. You should taste their Sockjuice.
It's fabulous. My grandma always said after that:"We had so much fun indeed, while we ran and peed."To be continued...

'Mrs Cowboy'? I thought they were all gay in Strokeback Fountain?
Anyway, it's good to see the illness hasn't unhinged your mind.
['How would we be able to tell?' Someone shouts in the dark and runs away.]
Goodnight. I'mm off to bed now, because the clocks go forwards tonight, and I have to be at work extra-early.
Yay, Superlon! And some very funny (though, perhaps not for you) posts since I've been away.
With any luck I will not have exploded in a flurry of snow and ice by the end of this comment. I was dangerously full of the joys of Finland already, you see, having just been to see Kiila, Es, and Islaja in a basement. They weren't being held captive or anything, just playing music. Although many of them had been/were ill. Is it traditional for Finnish folk to be laid low by colds and such during this week of the year? Anyway, hope you're feeling a lot better. I would have dropped in earlier, but I found some previously undiscovered self-discipline (I wonder what else I'd find if I tidied up more often?) and have not been online much. Which means the MA application form has at last been sent off and blogging will resume shortly. Erm, tomorrow night probably.
Ahhhh, Finland, Finland, Finland
The country where I want to be,
Pony trekking or camping,
Or just watching TV.
Finland, Finland, Finland.
It's the country for me.
Ok, that's enough of that.
Oh, nearly forgot, next English lesson:
You arrive 'at' not 'to'.
Dave, thanks.
Guess what.
We don't actually have any prepositions in Finnish. We use lots of postpositions instead.
Once-a-week poster of comments, nice to hear from you :)
And bunch of congrats!
In fact I remembered you talking about the gig earlier and it seems to have been an explosive one. Nice! [in Louis Balfour voice]
Yes, it is the national lets-all-be-ill-week here at the moment. You see, in early November someone takes the sun away. It is all black for 4 months. Then in March that someone drops the sun back and switches the lights on permanently.
There are just two options:
a) have a cold
b) commit a suicide
(I think I'm soon going to have a Nobel prize. Or kick in the as* for ruining the reputation of our noble and humble country.)
Have I seen that lovely poem before? * Thinks the possibilities. Stops thinking. *
Have you slept at all?
Have I been rude again?
I'm sorry, I have no manners and so on.
As my friend Jim said, 'Bleak, Blake'.
Interpreter pavlov, what a lovely entrance. All this overflowing poetry!
Are you related to the behaviorist?
* scratches suspiciously *
Oh, I played the piano for nine years, but Mr Fox made me to sell my piano. I wonder why?
Your mountains so lofty,
Your treetops so tall!
[I blame my insomnia and Chernobyl for the occasional slowness and rudeness of my actions.]
That's what my comment meant. I was sure Taiga had read Blake.
What the hammer?
What the chain,
In what furnace was thy brain?
In fact I haven't read much Blake, but I have had a very close eye on the William Blake exhibition in Helsinki...
>>Your mountains so lofty,
Your treetops so tall!<<
Ah, I see you got the Monty Python reference. It just seemed apt at the time. What rudeness by the way?
As for the gig, any gig where a pink Duracell Bunny with cymbals provides the percussion on one song is good in my books.
Now for some overdue late night blogging...
Oh, I got it at last. I just had to remove the wet woollen sock out of my head first.
>>What rudeness by the way?<<
I'm constantly pointed out that I'm speaking in a rude way and upsetting people. Not my intention really. I'm always modded in the other forums for a bad use of language, so maybe there's some truth in it...
