Superlon Mystery 16: Not my cup of pea

Eiseemi Laxi finally got his dinner in the Peasant's Inn.
While he was enjoying his eggplants with white chocolate mousse and Bulgarian homebrew, the others had a serious discussion.

Stejar Strahl: Who are the Schildpatt twins?
Surprised man: They are the vocalists of the local muzak'n moll band.
Suspicious woman: Liselotte and Annigrete. I am their voice-over agent.
Stejar Strahl: Why would they be furious?
Suspicious woman: They can't have their tortoise shell covered keyboards now.
Stejar Strahl: Oh, they aren't the baddies then? Who is your boss? Is he one of the fighters over there?
Björn the Bear: No, they are just having a rehearsal for a sitcom.

Surprised man: Our boss is Iseeu Salmo-salar, the head-officer of the Piscatory People Ltd.
Stejar Strahl: Haven't I heard of him somewhere before? Eiseemi?

Eiseemi Laxi: This mousse horrifies my taste.
It is like the gobblery fish-loaf my mother used to cook for dinner when I was a teenager and wanted a have another friend besides my long johns.

>>I had to pop in and tell that I accidentally deleted my blog. It was a very quick and permanent incident indeed. (Fortunately it was the other one.)<<

Ow. That's a shame. There were some lovely photos on there. I trust they're all still somewhere safe?

>>Btw. the mess in the kitchen was catastrophalic. The younger cub has now also an another, kinda dirtier virus. [sigh]<<

Further commiserations. I dread to ask what happened. Tell A, hope he get's well soon.

You're not having a good week, are you?

Some wonderfully inventive English here. I hardly know where to start with your language lesson today.

*Pauses while dusky maidens feed him grapes and mop his fevered brow*

Just 'enjoying his eggplants', not 'enjoying of his eggplants'.

Surplus words in the phrase 'wanted a have an another friend'. I think you mean 'wanted to have another friend'.

OPC, this really isn't the best of the weeks I've had.

I think I mentioned the dog eating something in the kitchen. Well, after eating the dessert she crashed the pretty expensive glass bowl. The younger cub was watching and threw up. But it was very nice to have an oddly sequenced Anglo-Finnish chat with you.

The blog died suddenly with no pain, but the photos are safe.
Actually I'm not very sad, because somebedy's going to have a GW fiesta tonight :)

Thanks again, Dave. [I think I should write this in Sanskrite for a change. Might be a bit better for all of us...]

So many times, it happens too fast
You change your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

Chorus:
It's the eye of the taiga, it's the cream of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watchin' us all in the eye of the taiga

The city is a jungle, you better take care
Never walk alone after midnight
If you don't believe it you better beware
Of me

I am behind you, I'll always find you, I am the taiga
People who fear me never go near me, I am the taiga,

Holy ginger jesus it was good.

[The lonely fiesta I had.]

I read this morning that "There is nothing freer than a wild Tiger on the loose...
and there are fewer things more tragic than a Tiger behind bars".

Substitute Taiga for Tiger, and I'm sure we'd all agree.

Thank you Dave for your kind words.
