When I was younger, I saw lots of dreams.
Many of those rather odd and peculiar dreams are painted on canvas, and the rest are written in the notebooks.
Here's one standard dream I had:
I'm standing on the beach at low water. There's a brown dog behind me and a large Art Nouveau style cupboard on the water. I open the doors slowly and see that it is filled with bones and skulls.
I dreamt for the whole decade of naked people, bones and water.
Could somebody call Freud, Marx, Engels, Jung and the Crane brothers.
In 2000 when I had my first son and soon the second one and I didn't have dreams for three years. [ I didn't sleep much.]
After that I have had just two kinds of dreams:
a) I'm in the train
b) I have just missed the train.
Until this year, when I have had few different kind of dreams, at last.
Last night I had this one:
I saw an electric blue coloured machine (don't know what it was) and somebody said:
"You shouldn't talk with them. They might be your mother."These were the exact words, because the dream was in English. [Yes, the same lousy English with mistakes and all included.]
I have never had a dream in a different language before and it was just as odd as the whole dream was.
Well, it was welcome change after all.
I just wish I could have some kind of an ordinary dream. Are there any ordinary dreams?
I've never dreamed of flying and I'd love to.
This isn't a dream, but my friend "tailed the rock" sent this link to
this video.
It's a prize winning Finnish animation of the fairy tale
The three goats by Heikki Prepula. I loved his
Gussy the Kangaroo in Space when I was a kid.

Charles Baudelaire: The Cat
7 comments:
Firstly I must say that Charles Baudelaire is a fine specimen of a cat! He looks so peaceful and content in the photograph. I especially like the thick fur on his legs as it looks like he's wearing wooly trousers.
I believe Charles would get on with my cat Monsieur Trebor.
Now to the dreams... they sound rather bizarre, especially the one about the beach and the skulls. What on Earth could this mean? We need a dream expert...
Ahh, my mighty ginger. You should see the woollen trousers when he runs :)
I must have buried the bones in my cupboards by now, because I'm not dreaming about them anymore...
I would love to see that! There are a lot of dogs around my village with woollen trouser (legs) and i always laugh aloud when i see them run. I wish my cat had such great fur as Charles, Trebor is sleek and smooth.
I'm glad you've stopped having that dream, it sounds a little scary, more like a mild nightmare! I also often dream about trains and not getting off in time. I am going to investigate this and let you know the meaning...
ok this is what i've found;
To see a train in your dream, represents conformity and go along with what everyone else is doing. You have the need to do things in an orderly and sequential manner...
To dream that you are on a train, is symbolic of your life's journey and suggests that you are on the right track in life and headed for the right direction. Alternatively, you have a tendency to worry needlessly over a situation that will prove to work out in the end... To dream that you miss a train, denotes missed opportunities or nearly escaping your death.
Umm interesting...have you had any near death experiences in the last couple of years?! Otherwise it sounds like quite a good dream!
Death has been knocking on my doors quite many times, but not in the last couple of years, as far as I know.
Missed opportunities, haa, thats the whole essence of my life. I might write my memoirs around that:
Taiga the Fox - Life full of missed opportunities.
Today's English lesson (I really must start charging for these - perhaps a holiday in Finland would compensate me):
'the rest is written in...' the rest are (plural you see).
'It was year 2000' either 'it was the year 2000 when' or (better) just 'in 2000'
'colored' sorry, that's American spelling, and we don't want to go there, do we? Coloured, please.
That's all.
I'm not going to say anything about your dreams, because you're obviously bonkers, and may attack me with an axe.
Thanks, Dave. I really must be blind.
Btw. I'm not attacking any firebug-vicars.
