...and other snapshots from Latvia finally uploaded on my Flickr home. It took just 9 months to do it. People tend to have babies faster than I virtually glue my virtual photos to my virtual album. [sigh]
BiB, thanks :) Riga was utterly wonderful! As well as the rest of Latvia we saw, but especially Riga and it's Art Nouveau buildings. I'd definitely want to go there sometime again.
Dave, I loved your photo "Steps at Goodrich Castle". Brilliant!
Kissa, thanks :) You should definitely visit the Baltic States!
That's the way, Dave :) OPC, thanks :) I kind of started to upload some from Germany as you noticed, but I had mostly taken photos of the various artwork, so there are only just a few landscapes and stuff like that.
My father wanted me to be an arson baby. My mother wanted me to be a hammond organist. I wanted to be a showjumper.
Well, who am I? Master of the monosyllabic boredom.

That door was worth opening - loved the 1001 steps, and the sigulda, and the sandstone :)
I'd been wondering when there might be some more photos.
Thanks :)
(they were fake, the strawberries)
Riga is heaven, isn't it? Or did you secretly hate it? Longing to get back there at some point. Lovely, lovely photos.
I don't think I've uploaded any photos onto Flikr for at least nine months, too.
I have a Latvian friend, a doctor who lives in Riga. I met her here in Cornwall. I would love to visit Riga well all The Baltic States. Great photos.

Oh well, in that case I shall upload some more.
Brilliant - some more :) Love "They all went there...", you have a knack for titles, and Wilhelmshöhe Park looks a lovely sort of fantastical place.
That's the way, Dave :)
OPC, thanks :)
