This weekend I have mostly been watching hot air balloons passing by, eating candy floss and gardening. I also potted the first balcony plants this year. I was just finishing with Sweet alyssum when the younger cub came to see what I did.
A. Fox: How did you do that?
T. Fox: Do what?
A. Fox: You are the most amazing mother in the world!
T. Fox: Oh?
A. Fox: You can grow flowers in the rock!
T. Fox: Darling, that's plastic.

Plastic reminded me of reading about this:
"My Beautiful Mommy is aimed at kids ages four to seven and features a plastic surgeon named Dr. Michael (a musclebound superhero type) and a girl whose mother gets a tummy tuck, a nose job and breast implants. Before her surgery the mom explains that she is getting a smaller tummy: "You see, as I got older, my body stretched and I couldn't fit into my clothes anymore. Dr. Michael is going to help fix that and make me feel better." Mom comes home looking like a slightly bruised Barbie doll with demure bandages on her nose and around her waist. "
I think I need some chocolate now.

Couldn't figure out whether to laugh or cry when I saw that book, until I realised it wasn't a joke or spoof. I just read a magazine article that examines the new trend in cosmetic surgery now sold as a package called 'The Mummy'.
More chocolate - always!
I don't believe it.
I do hope 'Mom' wasn't called Sweet Alyssum.
Yep, chocolate certainly sounds like the only reasonable response to me :)
I think it might be true.
