Cute idea :) Hope it catches on here too - erm, not least because even just plain ordinary stitching could improve the seating on some of Britain's less well maintained public transport...

I've spent about 20 minutes staring at these pictures and trying to think of something intelligent to write about cross-stitch designs on public transport seating.

What a lovely idea. You'd have to have your needle threaded before getting on the train/tram/bus, though otherwise you might stab yourself, which would be a different sort of art altogether.
