I wish you had done the films in between the songs. We waited and waited for some nice views of Helsinki.

Now that Finland's tenure as champion is over, can Mr. Lordi finally come out as Tarja Halonen?

Marsha, thanks :) I have to admit the postcard films were quite odd indeed...

100 words: Oh, blimey, I didn't notice all that blood and crashed airplane parts everywhere. Hmph. Do I really have to clean up now?

BiB, oh do you mean he is she? Who is she then? Does that mean it's true that Tarja really is Conan O'Brien?

I find this subject even more obscure than Superloner.

I missed Eurovision. I was, erm, asleep. In fact, I seem to have spent most of the week asleep. I think it's entirely possible that I'm not entirely well*. A suspicion that is probably backed up by my decision to catch up on Eurovision by watching all the videos [shakes head in bafflement at self].

Mind you, very few of them were bearable for more than 30 secs, though, so, on the plus side, at least it didn't take very long. I did make it to the end of the Finnish entry, though. It actually wasn't too bad, in a teen angsty not quite Evanescence kind of a way. And what was so wrong with the French one? It actually wasn't too bad a song and they were blatantly taking the piss out of ... I just answered my own question, didn't I?

*not entirely well, but mostly ok.
