Obviously you'll know which titles are Finnish, I just included one in case it meant anything interesting. I haven't a clue what any of it's about. Except that one of the songs on the CD has something to do with some big black birds, like crows or ravens, fighting in the sky. He didn't know the English word for them.Occasional Poster of Commentshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07780858079455768452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20564770.post-1141659805519001222006-03-06T17:43:00.000+02:002006-03-06T17:43:00.000+02:00Ta!Never heard before :)Ta!
Never heard before :)Taiga the Foxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00326784992553759627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20564770.post-1141658864790822642006-03-06T17:27:00.000+02:002006-03-06T17:27:00.000+02:00>>Btw. which musician? One of the guys from a band ...>>Btw. which musician?<<

One of the guys from a band called Kiila. Their CD Silmät sulkaset is one of my favourites and their performance here was the best I've ever seen (video that doesn't quite do it justice here). I'm currently very much looking forward to seeing them play in Cambridge again on the 25th. If you go to the jukebox on Fonal Records (Lucy and Albert went there the other night) the ones with Finnish titles, like Kateet linnut, will be off that CD.

[hopes he hasn't written anything obscene in Finnish]Occasional Poster of Commentshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07780858079455768452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20564770.post-1141640586664553032006-03-06T12:23:00.000+02:002006-03-06T12:23:00.000+02:00Dave, it's just my eye(s) seeing everything bit od...Dave, it's just my eye(s) seeing everything bit oddly.

Actually the whole country is filled with polished Nokia engineers and McFeast burgers. Looking at those first two photos, it's not hard to believe. So bleak, yet kind of magnificent and beautiful. And those metal cows are great. You take some wonderful photo's, Taiga.Occasional Poster of Commentshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07780858079455768452noreply@blogger.com
